LifeStyleRx offers a variety of comprehensive and inclusive youth fitness programs including its award-winning Youth FitZone. Programs are designed to provide education, instruction and participations for youths ages 6-14 regardless of physical ability.

LifeStyleRx Youth Fitness programs are held in FitZone, a “kid-friendly” exercise area for members ages 6-15.
Youth Fitness program participants can take advantage of fitness evaluations and instructor-led classes utilizing resistance training equipment specifically designed for kids. The equipment uses very low resistance to promote proper form in developing strength. FitZone classes also provide the opportunity to learn various sports and games designed to improve cardiovascular fitness. Most activities are non-competitive in design and focus on teaching the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle.
Youth Fitness classes are led by exercise professionals with sports backgrounds.

Youth Summer Program feature a variety of classes and programs to keep your child active and entertained. Classes include sports camps such as basketball, volleyball and lacrosse, dance classes, yoga for kids, and even kids and teens cooking classes. There is something from every child at LifeStyleRx.

Excel Fitness is designed to help children improve their fitness skill and level in a fun and non-intimidating setting. Participants will increase strength and endurance, and improve coordination, balance and agility. Taught by certified LifeStyleRx personal trainers.

Tired of the stress from planning your child’s birthday party? Let LifeStyleRx do the work for you! LifeStyleRx offers themed birthday parties with several different activities to choose from. Whether your child wants to swim, cook, play games, dance or go on scavenger hunts, there is plenty of fun for everyone.

One of our most popular birthday themes is build-your-own pizza and cupcakes. During this party, kids are able to design their own pizza and cupcakes to eat and also participate in games in the gymnasium while the pizza is cooking.

StudioRx classes offer age-appropriate dance skills and movement patterns while providing fun and exercise for our youth. Each class is specifically designed to support the physiological development at each stage. Princess Pointers is age-specific pre-ballet classes designed to encourage the development of body and spatial awareness, introduce dance terms and ballet positions, and practice positions and stretches.
Princess Pointers (Ages 2-5½)

Princess Pointers is our pre-ballet class that introduces the skills and techniques of ballet. Level 1 caters to our younger members ages 2-3 ½. Scarves, stuffed toys and hulas hoops help make learning to dance a whole lot of fun! |

Level 2 helps children ages 3 ½ to 5 ½ learn real ballet stretches, footwork and arm patterns. |
Jazz Dance (Ages 5½-7)
Jazz Dance allows children to move to popular music while learning techniques for kicks, leaps, turns and jazz dance sequences.

Our Youth Triathlon team has now completed events at Merced, Emeryville, and De Anza College in Cupertino. Come join us as we get ready for our next grand adventures. The program features 20 practice sessions which include basic cycling skills, running, transition practice and more fun activities.
